Grant is a highly experienced pianist with a passion for vocal music. From coaching singers to performing as a soloist, his widely varied career has lead him across the Pacific Seaboard. Currently the Willamette Valley of Oregon is his home.

He is a native of Washington State.  He holds degrees from the University of Puget Sound and the University of Hawaii at Mānoa; his Doctorate in Piano Performance from the University of Oregon. Grant was the pianist for the Honolulu Symphony from 1990-2015 and taught applied piano and chamber music at Hawaii Pacific University. During his residency there he enjoyed performing traditional and modern Hawaiian music across the Islands.
